Tip of the Day...

Digital Design Tip of the Day...or what I learned anyway...and a link to where i learned it, if there is one..

The first program you need in order to be a digital scrapbooker is Photo Shop Elements (PSE)

Today I learned to make bubbles...I will give details how to do  it, later.

I've learned so much in the past few days, just playing. Currently, I am setting up Estsy shops to sell some of my invitations, birth announcements, etc.

Today I learned how to use a PSE brush to make dotted lines. (O great, now everything i create will have a dotted frame and be dotty circles for awhile). So what? I LOVE EM! Of course, I learned from Alibony.com (Karen Brockney) She is really good! I have learned so many little tidbits from her and from Jessica. Believe me, I use all of them!


If you come across something you don't know how to create or do, you can search help menu right in Photoshop Elements, or google "How to make a dotted brush".

I turned that dotted circle into a pattern. And made paper! I love it!

I also worked some more with the filter distort:wave and ziz zag.

Take a look at today's PAPER Page and see if you can catch the wave. I don't have instructions for it. I just put several lines of color on the page and went to filter/distort/wave or try zig zag It is fun to see what you can come up with!

If you think my design tips are mod podge, well they sorta are! It is torture, at times, to be a self teacher. I get caught up in so many things. There is no lesson plan. If you need structural learning, you should go and take one of Jessica's classes and you will learn from Beginner to Professional. (Then come teach me some stuff, K?)
